Are You Covered?

There are many different types of insurance plans with differing levels of coverage.  There are three main categories, however. The first offers a complete eyecare or hearing package which will pay directly for your examination and all other covered materials. A variation of this plan is where your insurance will offer a reimbursement plan for either just the exam, materials or both. The second is routine exam or straight medical coverage. This type typically incurs a small copay, if any charge at all. The third is by way of a discount plan. Some insurances offer this in lieu of disbursing payments.

Our office participates with most major health plans, as well as local unions and many discount plans alike. However, if we are not currently on your provider list, please inform us, as it is usually only a phone call away. We also offer affordable rates and flexible payment plans for patients without insurance.

If you are unsure of your benefits, you may call the number on your insurance card and ask what your coverage is, or ask your plan administrator for these details.  Coverage varies with each patient and insurance provider.
